| About My Flora & Fauna Artwork: From a macro view deep inside a flower or up close on a luna moth's wing, to quiet spaces in woods and marshes, art that celebrates nature is captivating in any home or workplace. Some of these works are intricately detailed, while others enjoy a more abstract style. Whether I'm working in fabric collage, mixed media, painting, or drawing, I try to capture the feeling of the subject through texture, motion, and lighting. I often use a wide variety of fabrics and textiles, embellishments in stone, glass, found objects and beadwork, as well as paint, wire, and tiles to add interest and texture to my compositions. |
