| Temari Ball Ornaments |
| About this Artwork: The art of making Temari balls is an ancient Japanese tradition. While many contemporary Temari makers use a core of a styrofoam ball, my Temari Ball Ornaments are made the traditional way, using a core of fabric and batting scraps, wrapped with yarn, over-wrapped with thread, then hand embroidered with a combination of cotton thread, embroidery thread, and organic yarns. Each weights about 5 ounces. Gift wrapped in a pretty colored oriental take-out box. Specify ball color/style when ordering. |
